This incredible early 1900's Gamewell cast iron fire alarm is an awesome find and very scarce. The fire alarm is solid cast iron and extremely heavy. This fire alarm is numbered "24" and made for Telegraph Co in New York. The item measures 32cm long x 15cm wide x 44cm high. The fire alarm is in great condition for its age although some repairs have been made on the front (see pics). The fire alarm is not tested and sold as not working although this would make an amazing feature piece in a home and would be a great throwback to earlier days. Both the doors open fine and the front door has a key. The fire alarm still has the original parts inside. There is age and usage related wear and tear that is to be expected of an item of this age - it still looks wonderful overall, though. You really don't see these everyday!
