The handles of all these commemorative spoons have a detailed raised finish which shows the oxen pulling a wagon to the Voortrekker Monument. The manufacturer seems to be Solafabriek, M.J. Gerritsen – this is indicated on the inside of the lid of the box.

On the back of each spoon the words Voortrekker Eeufees 1838 -1938 appear. There is also a stamp similar to a silver hallmark on each spoon but I could not determine its the meaning.

The spoons are in their original box which shows wear and tear and the spoons are toned.
