POORMAN'S FRIEND WAS AN OINTMENT MADE OF LARD, BEESWAX, MERCURY AND OTHER SUBSTANCES FORMULATED BY DR. GILES ROBERTS IN THE 1790's IN BRIDPORT, DORSET, ENGLAND AND EXTENSIVELY USED FOR OVER 150 YEARS, THE ORIGINAL RECIPE FOR THE OINTMENT IS HELD AT BRIDPORT MUSEUM, DORSET.  AT HIS DEATH HIS BUSINESS WAS TAKEN OVER BY TWO OF HIS WORKERS, BEACH & BARNICOTT AND THIS LITTLE PORCELAIN POT DATES OUT OF THE 1880's. 4CM TALL AND 5CM IN DIAMETER - A REAL LITTLE COLLECTABLE!    REFER IMAGES
