This spectacular antique Oak fall top plantation desk is in amazing condition for its age and has wear and tear consistent with its impressive age - the desk dates to the second half of the 19th century!. The desk has a spacious single drawer with Knapp joints confirming the desk was made between 1870 and 1900. The handles on the drawer are beautiful and ornate. The writing bureau/ desk features a fall top writing surface to make this a very compact desk that does not need much space in a room - it can even be placed in a hallway. The desk is absolutely perfect for a study, an entrance hall or that space that needs something truly eye-catching; or even just to show off as an exquisite piece anywhere in your home! The writing desk measures 87cm long (148cm when sides are extended) x 50cm wide x 123cm high. One of the feet of the desk has damage to it (see pics) but it does not affect the functionality of the desk.
