This spectacular and beautifully made solid rosewood round 12-drawer jewellery chest with intricate brass inlay detailing is one of only a handful of such jewellery boxes that I managed to find on the internet. This is a very large and very heavy jewellery chest of drawers and measures 46cm across and 54cm high. The drawers are made out of 2cm thick rosewood planks with solid brass handles and inlay detailing throughout the chest. The chest has a lockable lid/ storage hatch with a removable four division tray. Below the removable tray is a set of four long metal rods that secure the drawers when the chest is locked and the drawers can not be opened unless the rod is removed - each rod secures three drawers. The chest does not have a key, but the lock can be replaced.
