A spectacular antique Hallmarked sterling silver Walker & Hall boxed 12 place setting cutlery set

This spectacular antique English made “Hallmarked” sterling silver “Walker & Hall” boxed 12 place setting cutlery service is in remarkable condition and includes everything from your normal knives, forks, spoons etc. to nut crushers, salt & mustard spoons, knife rests, carvers, cheese knives, a knife steel, pickle forks, assorted ladles, sugar tongs, sugar spoons and lots more, each displayed on trays in the canteen. The blades on the knives are non-stain steel with bone handle style handles. The pieces are monogrammed with the initials “SFA”.

The hallmarks on the set consist of the "Crown" city mark confirming its was made in Sheffield, the Lion passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925) and the letter "c" confirming it was made in 1920 and the makers stamp (assay) confirms the set was made by Walker & Hall Silversmiths of Sheffield.

The incredible “made-to-fit wooden cutlery canteen is lined with British Green veld and the set is labelled according to the relevant cutlery pieces. The canteen has its original key.
