A true classic and an Art Nouveau period piece , simply gorgeous !! The base is marked JS&S and the number 2 . No structural damage however as you can see the previous owner did not finish his cleaning job under the lid , probably from fear the hinge would break . Perhaps a ladies touch will do the trick .
