This truly spectacular and very rare antique Victorian (Art Nouveau) solid oak buffet server is steeped in history and once belonged to the late John Smith Moffat (1835 to 1918) who was the son of Dr. Robert Moffat and brother-in-law to Sir David Livingston. This buffet has incredible hand carved detailing and has two good size drawers under the serving top and three cupboards. Each of the drawers and cupboards have beautiful period style metal handles. The buffet measures a fantastic 150cm long x 50cm deep x 204cm high. The buffet server is in very good condition considering its impressive age (roughly 130 years old). The server is in two sections for easy moving and no matter where it is positioned, it would be a very striking eye-catching piece.
