A spectacularly rare antique (1911) Hallmarked sterling silver travel clock w/ a Brevet 33236 watch

This spectacularly rare antique (c1911) travel clock is beautifully made with a hallmarked sterling silver front and is lined in a stunning deep green velvet. The holder is opened to reveal an "oversized" Swiss made Brevet #33236 mechanical 15 Jewel pocket watch (which was also installed in the dashboards of vintage cars) which is in complete working condition. The watch has just been serviced by our clock maker and is keeping time well. The travel clock is on a tilting stand and measures roughly 12cm high x 10cm long x 3cm broad. The catch on the casing is still in great condition. The hallmarks on the case-front confirm that it was made in 1911 by H. Matthews of Birmingham, England and is British sterling silver (925). The pocket watch was in production from the early 1900's.
