Described as the best dictionaries in the world, this Funk & Wagnalls 1904 set of two volumes, easily 

describes why. 

Impeccably prepared by more than 200 specialists, miniature-photos of whom are contained herein. 

(personally supervised by Issac K Funk himself). 

Interior clean pages throughout (one I found to have an old tape mark). Pages remain tightly bound 

together, but end-cover has come loose on Vol 1 (hence the extremely generous price).

A search of the internet will reveal that it is a rarity to find both volumes of this edition together. 

One, or both of these volumes, will require careful handling and storage and/or repair.
