THIS STUNNING 16 PIECE VINTAGE (c1950's) MIDWINTER "SEMI-PORCELAIN" OF ENGLAND "CAPRICE" PATTERN TEA SET CONSISTS OF A FOUR CUP TEAPOT (16.5cm TALL), MILK JUG (11.5cm TALL), SUGAR BOWL (7.5cm TALL) AND FOUR OF EACH CUPS (6.2cm TALL) , SAUCERS (15.5cm ACROSS) AND CAKE PLATES (18.5cm ACROSS). TO REPLACE THE SET WOULD BE IN THE REGION OF R 2500.00 TO R 3000.00. THE CAPRICE PATTERN WAS DESIGNED BY JESSIE TAIT, WHO WORK IS NOW HUGELY COLLECTABLE. THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS IN ANY OF THE PIECES AND THE SET HAS BEEN VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER.
