WMF is a world famous German metalwork firm

This item was acquired from an elderly German gentleman living in Ceres Western Cape , apparently it belonged to his father and it has relevance to the war ...After the Anglo-Boer war , the last troops were withdrawn from Grootfontein in 1910 according to the net .
