This beautiful print is titled ''Les Betes dela mer'' (Beasts of the sea) by Henri-Émile-Benoît Matisse is absolutely stunning and would look fantastic in a lounge area or foyer area or hallway entrance, etc. Henri-Émile-Benoît Matisse was a French artist, known for his use of colour, shapes and his fluid and original draughtsmanship, but is known primarily as a painter. In this colour print, Matisse used symbolic shapes to imply coral, surf, sea plants and animals. Although the shapes may not look exactly like sea life, every simplified form suggests the movement and feel of the ocean, so we are never left in doubt of its meaning. The colour print with frame measures 38cm long x 48cm high and has minimal age and usage related wear and tear and is framed behind glass. There are minor scuffs on the frame, but nothing a little TLC cant sort out. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this gorgeous Henri Mattise framed print and to confirm the condition.
