This stunning large vintage Rhodesian silver plated "double-handle" footed serving bowl w/ beaded edge is in wonderful condition for its age. The silver plate on the bowl is A1 quality (superior quality) and is silver plate on copper. The stunning beaded detailing and the ornate feet make it a particularly stunning piece. There is minor/ normal age and usage related wear and tear and a few small dents in the base. Rhodesian silver plate was known for its quality and many pieces were exported to the UK and South Africa as well as to many of the Southern African countries. The bowl measures a sizeable 46cm long (handle to handle) x 23.5m wide x 14cm high. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this stunning bowl and to confirm the condition.
