A stunningly hand carved cedar wood vintage Pakistani Charpoi day bed/ bench from the Swati Valley

This stunningly hand carved cedar wood vintage Pakistani Charpoi (Charpai. Charpoy/ Charpaya) day bed/ bench from the Swati Valley is a gorgeous bench/ day bed and measures 182cm long x 80cm wide x 101cm high. The Charpoi does not have a cushion, but once could easily have a foam cushion and pillows made for it, especially upholstered in bright colours that one normally finds on them. I see that they often have roughly woven Persian style cushions and pillows too. The Charpoi has gorgeous hand carved detailing on the back rest and side rest and across the bench horizontal.
