This superb and exquisitely made oriental teak and camphor wood hand carved kist has been stunningly finished with a stunning brass locking catch, as well as internal corner caps and hinges. This stunning chest measures a 102cm long x 53cm wide x 48cm high and is in gorgeous condition. Besides making an awesome valuables kist, it is also perfect as a feature piece in an entrance hall or is a centre coffee table in a themed living room. The kist has wonderful weight to it and sits well on the ground. Each of the panels of the kist, including the top have stunning hand carved "scenery" themed carvings and the teak has also been beautifully carved with fine floral detailing.
