This superb original vintage Adam Bede English Oak roll top writing bureau with a desktop pull out as well as pull-outs on either side of the desk also has two drawers under the desktop a series of pigeon holes and a small drawer in the desk. The roll top, drawers and all side pull-outs have stunning polished brass handles. Adam Bede roll top writing bureaus are very scarce and this one is a particularly beautiful and in very good condition for its age. The vinyl writing top is clean and bar normal wear and tear is also in great condition. The writing bureau measures 102cm long x 69cm wide x 97cm high. There is a chip in the side of the curve of the desk and a hole has been made on the side for computer cables.
