This superb and rare pair of mid-century "Lancaster & Sandland" porcelain pin/ gem plates with world-famous British artist "John Constable" paintings transfer prints are in excellent condition and each plate measures 14.5cm x 14.5cm. The plates are part of a series of John Constable themed plated introduced by Lancaster & Sandland between 1940 and 1959. These pin plates have the "mottled" pink border with gold gilded detailing. There are no chips or cracks in either of the collectable plates and there is minimal crazing. The stands are not included. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate these two stunning plates and to confirm the condition.
