This superb and very rare mid-century original "Susie Cooper" dinner service in the beautiful Patricia Rose pattern is in wonderful condition for its age and has no chips or cracks in any of the pieces. There is a little crazing and minor scuffs, which is to be expected. The Patricia Rose pattern was first introduced in 1938 and shows a delicate pink rose surrounded by flowing leaves and buds. The Patricia Rose pattern ended production in 1964. The set measures as follows: The six dinner plates each measure 25.5cm across, The six starter/ entree plates each measure 23cm across, The five side plates each measure 17cm across, The six soup/ dessert bowls each measure 19.5cm across, The food platter measures 35.5cm x 28cm and the veggie bowl is 23.5cm across x 7cm high. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this amazing legionary Susie Cooper porcelain and to confirm the condition.
