This superb Retro Japanese made Noritake Progression series porcelain dinner service in the awesome "Newel" pattern (No. 9008) was only in production between 1966 and 1979 and is a superb example of the retro Noritake porcelain of that period. This is the original Noritake that made Noritake a household name. The pattern is a series of brown panels with vertical lines set on white porcelain. The set includes two dinner platter, two lidded tureens, a gravy boat, a lidded butter dish, a vegetable bowl, a milk jug, 3x dinner plates, 5x starter plates, 10x side/ cake plates, 4x cups & 6x saucers, 4x soup bowls, 6x dessert bowls and a lid for a sugar bowl. Although the set is not complete, it is ideal to add to your existing Noritake Newel pattern dinner service or to use certain pieces. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this superb original quality Noritake dinner service and to confirm the condition.
