Willard van Orman Quine was one of the most influential analytic philosophers of the 20th century. Quine produced and contributed essential knowledge to the fields of logic and set theory. Together with Edward McCluskey, Quine developed the Quine-McCluskey method, which is used to minimise the number of Boolean functions, a core operation in computing.
