A TEAL 850ML CAST IRON TEAPOT DRINK TEA WITH LEAVES THE ASIAN WAY
THIS IS A TEAL 800ML CAST IRON TEAPOT WITH A REPEATED STRIPE DESIGN. COMES WITH AN INFUSER AND IS USED TO DRINK TEA BY BREWING TEA LEAVES IN THE TRADITIONAL ASIAN WAY.
Though to be originally created in ancient China, the cast iron teapot has become a widely-known traditional Japanese artefact (called a tetsubin in Japan) who added decoration. The Chinese followed suit and has been producing these cast iron teapots with various decorated designs and shapes and sizes ever since.
These teapots are extremely durable and are made to last. Cast from Iron, these teapots are coated internally (many in enamel) to make it easy to clean and prevent rusting. Cast iron has exceptional thermal conductivity which allows the tea to stay hotter for longer than conventional ceramic or glass teapots. Equipped with a removable stainless steel mesh infuser, these teapots are perfect for brewing loose tea leaves of various kinds (green tea, white tea, red tea etc). The strainer allows you to enjoy the very best that the tea has to offer in terms of flavour, without the chunks of bitter leaves ending up at the bottom of your cup.
Not only are cast iron teapots beautiful objects that you can display with pride in your tea corner (many people like to collect them in all the various designs and colours), but theyre also a simple and functional way to brew up a tasty cup of tea.

HOW TO BREW LOOSE LEAF TEA IN A CAST IRON TEAPOT:
Warm the cast iron teapot with warm water. This reduces the chance of thermal shock to the enamel surface.
Place your loose leaf tea in the infuser measure around 1 teaspoon per 200ml of water
Boil water in a kettle, add the hot water to the teapot ensuring to cover the loose leaf tea in the infuser, and put on the lid
Steep for a few minutes this will vary depending on the variety of tea, and your own preferences of strength
Remove the infuser and pour your brew
