A 5 shilling coin from 1952 , These were issued to commemorate the arrival of Jan Van Riebeeck at the Cape 300 years earlier . The coin consists of 50% silver and weighs 28.3 grams . Photos were taken in natural light and sharpened to show more detail so it may look even better to the naked eye .
