THIS IS A VINTAGE ITEM AND AS SUCH HAS SCRATCHING ETC DUE TO AGE....IT NEEDS SOME TLC... HOWEVER IT IS STRONG AND STURDY... NOTHING WRONG WITH THE STRUCTURE.... IT CAN ALSO BE USED BEHIND A COUCH OR AGAINST A WALL FOR ALL YOUR PRECIOUS TRINKETS, BOOKS ETC
