VERY, VERY RARE EDITION - WRITTEN BY AMY STEEDMAN AND PUBLISHED BY THOMAS NELSON AND SONS LTD WITH ILLUSTRATIONS BY H.M. BROCK, W.H. MARGETSON AND OTHERS. BOOK IS UNDATED BUT GENERAL CONSENSUS APPEARS TO BE THAT IT WAS PUBLISHED IN THE EARLY 1920's (SOME SAY EARLIER) IN SURPRISINGLY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE WITH MINOR SCUFFING IT IS REALLY QUITE A FIND. THE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE ALSO ABSOLUTELY STUNNING (AND USED IN MANY OF THE EARLIER BIBLES - AFRIKAANS AND ENGLISH) H.M. BROCK WAS A WORLD RENOWNED ILLUSTRATOR AND LANDSCAPE ARTIST (ILLUSTRATED SOME SHERLOCK HOLMES BOOKS AS WELL) AND W.H. MARGETSON WAS ALSO A WELL KNOWN FAIRYTALE BOOK ILLUSTRATOR (INCLUDING FOR "THE WILD GEESE") THIS IS SUCH A STUNNING CHILDREN'S BIBLE FOR A COLLECTION AND I HAVE TAKEN MANY PHOTOS SO YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD LOOK (AND I AM SURE WILL RECOGNISE MANY OF THE ILLUSTRATIONS) REFER IMAGES
