This vintage stovetop espresso copper Italian Moka Express coffee maker with bakelite handles is in usable condition. It measures 11.5cm x 25cm high.The Moka pot is a stove-top maker that brews coffee by passing boiling water pressurized by steam through ground coffee. Named after the Yemeni city of Mocha, it was invented by an Italian engineer named Alfonso Bialetti in 1933 and quickly became one of the staples of Italian culture
The lower portion is for the water, the filter for the coffee grounds and the upper chamber for the finished coffee. So if you love espresso but dont like the cost of buying them on a regular basis?
