This well-used lunchbox, apparently called a Tiffin lunchbox, looks clean from the outside but has obviously seen many years of use. One can imagine it being used by a farmers wife to give enough food to her husband to eat while he is out working the fields the whole day or by some hunters while they are out on a hunting field trip.

It appears as if each layer might also have been used as a cooking saucepan as the bottom of each layer is also well used (as per the photos). Having said that there is nothing stopping anyone from still using this lunchbox for its original purpose as a useful object, or simply for decoration purposes as Africana.
