A wonderful rare antique (1888) Art Nouveau "Lawrence Emanuel" sterling silver calling card case

This magnificently rare antique Art Nouveau hallmarked "Lawrence Emanuel" sterling silver calling card holder has an incredible "twirled" design synonymous with the very early Art Nouveau era and measures 6cm to 13.7cm when open x 8.5cm wide x 1.5cm high. The card holder weighs a wonderful 62.6g. The hallmarks on the calling card holder consist of the "L.E" makers mark confirming it is a Lawrence Emanuel piece, The lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the anchor Assay mark confirming the card holder was made in Birmingham and the Gothic date letter "o" confirming it was made in 1888 and the 1800's duty mark stamp. There is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear associated with a 100+ year old silver case.
