Anglo Boer War Medal - ABO - Burger Wessel Johannes Strydom - Ladybrand Kommando - He was first a Burger, but then promoted to Rappporryer
Two BURG WJ Strydom on the medal roll, but the issue date and fact it has a TYPE C African Service Medal suspender we can confirm its after Feb 1942 issued.
He was captured on 20th July 1900 and sent to Ceylon Island (Sri Lanka). He returned to South Africa on the 13th January 1903.

All research given for both individuals given, also Willem Jacobus Strydom.
