This priceless, exquisite hand-crafted knife was made by an Abysinnian (Ethiopian) tribesman over 100 years ago.

It  (amongst hundreds of others) was confiscated by the Italian army when they invaded Abyssinia in 1935.

The South African forces that drove the Italians out in 1940 took possession of these knives and they found their way to South Africa after WW11.

The beautifully engraved sheath is made from brass. The blade of the dagger is also closely engraved with various patterns.

Beautiful knife. As valuable as suggested by the seller. Well packaged and sent timeously.
