  The Acacia Fleckii or Blade Thorn Tree grows up to 10 metres. It is a very hardy tree and is grown extensively in Zimbabwe, the Northern parts of South Africa as well as in some parts of KZN. It does very well without tending and thrives in the dryer lowveld areas. It makes a very good bonsai specimen and is quick growing.

Acacia is a genus of shrubs and trees belonging to the subfamily Mimosoideae of the family Fabaceae.
