The Horingdoring Tree grows up to 10 metres. It is a very hardy round topped tree and has black bark. An extremely hardy drought resistant Acacia it is grown extensively in South Africa. It does very well without tending and thrives in the dryer lowveld areas. It makes a very good bonsai specimen and is quick growing.

Acacia is a genus of shrubs and trees belonging to the subfamily Mimosoideae of the family Fabaceae.
