A brilliant tree, with a wide flat crown. The tree growns up to 12 meters in height, and has a spread of up to 16 meters wide. The leaves are deep green featherly. The trunk is flaky, papery bark, pale in colour, from a cream tan to yellow brown.
The tree is fairly hardy. It can take tempretures from -2 C to 40 C.
It flowers in Spring to to early summer. The flowers are scented pale yellow.
