 on the PlayStation 3 is a high-octane flight action game that deviates significantly from the traditional "Strangereal" setting of the series. It focuses on cinematic, visceral aerial combat and introduces real-world locations and multi-vehicle gameplay. 

Core Gameplay Mechanics

• Close-Range Assault (CRA): The defining feature, split into Dogfight Mode (DFM) for jets and Air Strike Mode (ASM) for ground targets. By pressing L2+R2 on the PS3 controller when close to an enemy, the camera zooms in for a fast-paced, semi-scripted chase that makes it easier to land hits with guns and missiles.
• Diverse Aircraft: Unlike previous entries, you can pilot more than just fighter jets. The game features playable AH-64 Apachehelicopters, missions as a Black Hawk door gunner, AC-130 Specter gunship sections, and B-1/B-2 bomber runs.

• The Narrative: Written by military author Jim DeFelice, the plot follows Lieutenant Colonel William Bishop and the multinational Task Force 108 as they combat a Russian insurgent group and their elite pilot, Andrei "Akula" Markov, to stop a devastating new weapon called "Trinity".
