Acis is a genus of perennial, herbaceous and bulbous plants in the Amaryllis family Amaryllidaceae. The genus consists of 9 species distributed in Europe and Northern Africa. The genus initially lumped into Leucojum but was reinstated in 2004, after it was determined on morphological and molecular grounds that these species should be segregated from Leucojum. The species Acis autumnalis has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Acis species are easy to grow from seed and take 3 to 4 years to flower. They grow well in plunge beds and tolerate both summer dry and some moisture during dormancy. Most species increase by seed and vegetatively.

Acis autumnalis, previously known as Leucojum autumnale and commonly known as Autumn Snowflake is naturally found growing on the Iberian Peninsula and grows from 10cm to 20cm tall. It is hardy to about -6 °C and starts flowering in summer and continues to flower well into autumn. It forms a clump of dark green leaves that emerge after flowering and persist into spring. The flowering stem is usually red-tinted and the white flowers are often red or pink at the base.
