Acoustic Groove Machine is a Johannesburg-based alt. folk band with a catchy, unapologetic sound that puts bums on seats and then gets them up and dancing. The audience is the 4th member of the band, playing as big a part as the guitars, accordions, percussion and dulcimers: Acoustic Groove Machine knows all about putting on a show and keeping people entertained.

The Machine is made up of Adrian Ziller (Vocals, Guitar, and Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer), Alison McAlinden (Bass Guitar and Accordian), and Romy RidesApony Jankelowitz (Vocals and Percussion). Bringing a unique, but immediately relatable sound to the party, the Machine has toured extensively in Southern Africa to great acclaim, standing ovations and encores! It's because their sound is catchy and diverse, and runs the full gauntlet of emotions. It is not unusual to have the audience in stiches with laughter one minute, and crying real tears the next.
