GARLANDS / WREATHS

Hand-made by me with various local climbers, dried palm seed fronds & galvanized wire, white-washed with acrylic paint.

THIS IS NOT A SYNTHETIC WREATH, it is woven with actual creeper stems & plant material.

The bush-willow vine (combretum bactreosum) keeps sprouting roots that I am sure will turn the wreath into leaves & flowers if the roots are allowed to reach soil & water. The roots continuing to grow make these wreaths living things.I have yet to grow one to the leaf/flower point experiment in progress!
