2000 Wine Production silver R1 NGC MS64 (mintage: 712)

Scarce year 2000 Protea Series "Wine Production" sterling silver R1 (weight 15gm)graded MS64 (Mint State) by the NGC.Very low mintage of only 712 uncirculated coins.Up to date only 43 of these coins have been graded by the NGC and currently only 3 exist in MS64 grade.For the year 2000 one of South Africa's oldest industries is honoured,the Wine Industry.The obverse design portrays the majestic King Protea,South Africa's National flower.The R1 silver coin shows the beginning and end of the production process in wine making - the grapes and the finished product in barrels.This is one of the most beautiful sterling silver R1 coins of the entire silver Protea Series R1 coins and one of the scarcest.Excellent uncirculated coin and a very nice addition to any collection.Scarce in MS grades.Catalogues at R3000 in unc
