ADJUSTABLE

CIRCLE CUTTER HOLE SAW

Features:

Each tool comes with two tips, one plain brad point drill for thin sheets and one drill bit for thicker boards. By changing the center drill bit, holes can be readily cut in thin and think materials (Maximum thickness: 1-3/16").

Graduated in metric and inch sizes. Select the scale you want.

To adjust the size, locate the inner edges of the blade holders against the size graduation. For example: number 1 for a 1" diameter hole.

Alloy tools steel blades cut plywood, laminates, composite boards ALC, gypsum board, plastic, rubber and more range of other materials

PLEASE DO NOT USE ON STEEL OR OTHER METALS.

Alloy tool steel (m-2) cutter blades and center drill bit.
Capacity: 1/2" to 4"
Shank diameter: 1/4"
Comes with both plain bradpoint drill bit and one 6mm hex key wrench.

*Use the twist drill for boring thick wood.

*Use center point for boring thin wood.

  1. Set both cutting blades on holder tightly and correctly as shown in Figure A.

  2. To adjust the size, locate the inner edges of the blade holders against the size graduation.  For example number "40" for a 1 (40 mm) diameter hole.

  3. Set the two blade holders at the desired graduation on the measure bar by tightly screwing the hexnuts using an L-shape hex wrench.

  4. Use the chisel end drill to bore thin wood.  Use the twist drill for thick wood.

  5. Before boring, hold the two sides of veneer or timber firmly by stepping on it.  Take care to set the twist drill or chisel end drill at the center of the desired hole, then start boring.  When using a power drill, be sure to contact the cutting blades gradually and slowly on the object to be bored.  Abrupt contact of the blades on the boring object can give shock to your hands.

  6. If you wish to do deep boring (1" to 2", or 25mm to 50mm), use the "free doughnut" from one side of the timber, then start boring again from the other side until the cutting blades bore through a hole making a doughnut-shaped disc, as shown in Figures I, II, and III.

  7. A large hole with maximum diameter of 8" (200mm) can be bored by using the measure bar.
