IMPORTANT WARNING ADJUSTMENT WHEEL
Please take note: The adjustment wheels must NEVER be extended beyond the measurement specifications indicated on the form.
Extending the adjustment wheels beyond their specified range can cause the adjustment wheel to lose its grip on the internal screw mechanism. Once this happens, the mechanism can disengage from the adjustment wheel, making it extremely difficult to get the mechanism back into the correct adjustment position.
Although it may be possible to re-engage the mechanism, doing so can be extremely frustrating and time-consuming and may result in damage to the adjustment mechanism.
To prevent damage:
If you notice that an adjustment wheel is becoming increasingly difficult to turn, and the wheel is approaching the end of its specified measurement range, STOP adjusting immediately. Do not force or continue turning the wheel.
Instead, add additional padding to the form to achieve the required measurements rather than extending the adjustment mechanism beyond its specified range.
Please remember: The adjustment mechanism is designed to operate only within its specified measurement range. Forcing the wheel beyond this range can damage the mechanism and may affect the proper functioning of the form.
When in doubt: STOP, add padding, and do not force the adjustment wheel.
