Adorable Bing & Grondahl 'Pardon Me' Figurine (2372)
This adorable, early, hand painted porcelain figure from the 1940/50's, titled 'Pardon Me' depicts a shy couple - a young girl and boy standing back-to-back. The figurine was made in Denmark by the 'Bing & Grondahl' (B&G) factory, who merged with the 'Royal Copenhagen' factory in 1987 and was designed by 'Claire Weiss'. The base carry's the blue and green factory backstamps and the model number '2372', and this backstamp dates this piece between 1948 and 1952. This lovely figurine is in excellent condition and stands 20,5cm high.
