This is a larger species than most Adromischus and sometimes has auriculate (ear-like) projections on its leaf bases. The elongated light green leaves are plain, but have a horny margin to the base and sometimes show a reddish edge. The leaves are never spotted. The dense flower spikes are very attractive.
