A commendably ambitious book, and, for its day (1968), one of the best and most comprehensive books on African Tribal Art around. The hundreds of color and B/W photos include some very nice African Tribal Art objects, mostly figures and masks, but also fabrics, plaques, panels, and field photos. If you can forgive the somewhat dated text and presentation, this is still one of the African Tribal Art books to own at the right price.
