"AFRICAN FURY" BY GEORGE MICHAEL. FIRST EDITION, HARDCOVER, FULLY INTACT DUST THAT HAS BEEN TAPE-REPAIRED WITH MINOR WEAR AND TEAR, 220 PAGES, MARK FROM PREVIOUS OWNER ON FEP, IN GOOD USED CONDITION.

Big game hunting  to the majority of us, is a remote, dramatic and totally inaccessible sport; to a small minority it is an absorbing hobby; and to a handful of men it is their whole career. For those who survive its dangers, it is also one of the richest and most satisfying careers in the world. George Michael is one of those men, and African Fury is the story of his life and his hunting career from the time when he set out, in his early twenties, to hunt wild animals, to the present day when-at only thirty-eight - he is one of Africa's most successful hunters. Even as a small boy, he knew that when he grew up he would like to hunt for his living. But his family thought differently; he was apprenticed to a Pretoria wood machinist, and a safe, steady (if unspectacular) career lay before him. George Michael, however, had other ideas. He took a job in a local gun shop, working in his spare time to learn all he could about firearms; in the evenings, to earn some money, he ran a dance band; and then, his apprenticeship over and with money in the bank, he set out on his career as a hunter.
