1967 (first edition). Hardcover with dustcover, A4 size, 139 pages. Very good condition. Neat and clean; tight binding. Name inscription in front.

African mythology is in fact a collection of mythologies for there are many different people in Africa. Some, like the sophisticated societies of Uganda or Nigeria have been intensively studied and reveal detailed concepts of man in relation to his world; other like those of the bushmen and Pygmies, are less known and maybe be more limited.

The book includes 24 pages of colour prints and over 100 illustrations in black and white.
