 TRUE COLLECTORS' DREAM - EXTREMELY RARE Shi Tribal divination panel from Lake Kivu district of Eastern DRC. Associated with ancestral relations to the living. Academics surmise that the two faces are male/ female. Little is known of actual use. VERY SCARCE object - Eastern Kivu is occupied by militia and refugee camps, hence the traditional ways of life have been wiped out. Collected by seller in Rwanda approx 10 yrs ago. made from wood, with reflective white kaolin eyes - which indicate 'activation'. BUY NOW!
