AFRICANA COPPER BAPTISMAL FONT AND JUG
From a defunct Eastern Cape Mission Church
The baptismal font is solid copper and measures 14cm tall with a top diameter of 25cm and a base diameter of 16cm.
From the note inside, we are assuming that it is from the defunct Mission Church in Port Alfred.
It is in good condition with a few minor dents and have not been cleaned.
There are no visible markings.
The jug or pitcher looks older than the font and we are not sure if it has the same origin as the font.
It is in good condition with minor dents and have not been polished.
It has a base diameter of 16cm and stands 29cm tall.
There bottom is marked "4" at the centre and "JS&SE" or similar to the side.
