Boards shelf rubbed and stained. Binding good, foxing on front and back end pages, title pages and last two pages of index and page edges.
The author dealt with the efforts made by Russia (and to lesser degree) to extend their influence in Africa. To Lesing's mind the Cold War was waged nowhere else as hard as in Africa. With the luxury of hindsight, this makes very interesting reading.
