The Parisian sound is widely known for high profile acts like Daft Punk and Air or the filtered disco, hands-in-the-air dancefloor hedonism of the mid Nineties, but theres another side to Parisan active hive of sonic tenacity full of fresh and energetic sounds that has bred an eclectic roster of late-night legends. From St. Germains live electronic jazz mutations, to house icons Dimitri from Paris, Gregory and DJ Deep, to the fashionable, click house sounds of I:Cube (one half of Chateau Flight) or techno innovator Laurent Garnierwho literally changed the face of the genre--Paris is standing tall, with an identity all its own amid a fickle scene of underground credibility.
