Agatha Christie's Marple Season 2 (2006) features Geraldine McEwan as Miss Jane Marple and consists of four 90-minute adaptations of Christie's novels. The season is characterized by dark secrets, psychological tension, and appearances by other famous Christie characters.

Episode 1: Sleeping Murder (February 5, 2006)

Gwenda Halliday, a young woman recently arrived from India, purchases a seaside home in Dillmouth, England. She is plagued by disturbing visions, which she eventually realizes are repressed memories of witnessing her stepmother's murder there as a child. Miss Marple assists her in uncovering the truth, which involves a theatrical troupe and a psychiatrist with a twisted past, Dr. Kennedy.

Episode 2: The Moving Finger (February 12, 2006)

War veteran Jerry Burton and his sister Joanna move to the quiet village of Lymstock to recuperate, only to find it plagued by vicious poison pen letters. When residents start committing suicide and murder follows, Miss Marplealready in townhelps unravel a plot that uses the letters as a smokescreen. This episode is known for its strong romantic subplot and atmospheric village setting.

Episode 3: By the Pricking of My Thumbs (February 19, 2006)

While visiting a nursing home, Miss Marple pairs with Tommy and Tuppence Beresford, fellow Christie detectives, to investigate the death of Tommy's aunt and the sudden disappearance of her friend, Mrs. Lancaster. The investigation centers on a sinister house in a painting and a hidden past, merging Miss Marple into a story that was originally a Tommy and Tuppence novel.

Episode 4: The Sittaford Mystery (April 30, 2006)

During a snowstorm on Dartmoor, a seance in a hotel predicts the murder of a future Prime Minister, Clive Trevelyan, who is subsequently found murdered in his room miles away. Miss Marple, who is staying at the nearby Sittaford House, takes on the case, sorting through a large cast of suspects to find the killer, who is different from the book's original culprit.
